Setting Up Miscellaneous Rules

The Miscellaneous feature allows you to set up miscellaneous rules that include the following options.You may not have access to all the fields on this screen depending on your security level. You cannot make changes to this screen if you accessed this screen through the workfile instead of the profile.The following options can be enabled.

• Applying taxes to reconditioned and recored parts
• Allowing betterment on parts, labor hours, and refinish hours
• Selecting to include the deductible amount in the estimate
• Selecting to add Other Charge for Towing, Storage, and E.P.C. charges
• Selecting to allow Body Supplies on specific operations

To set up miscellaneous rules

1. Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
2. Select the profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
3. Select the Miscellaneous link.
4. Make your selections for the options on the screen.
5. Click Save or Save and Close.
